Case Kumera Drives: Custom-made hydraulic press makes work more efficient and safe

Vakomet supplied Kumera Drives a custom-made hydraulic press, tailored to the company’s needs and applications.
“Standard hydraulic presses are easily available from several, but this time we needed a custom press. This is where Vakomet was selected as the right partner for us, ”says Niko Piispanen, Production Director at Kumera Drives Oy.

Thanks to the new hydraulic press, work has been made more efficient, and safety at work – thanks to special design – has also been greatly improved.

“We deliver power transmission solutions to a variety of industries. The press handles large, heavy pieces. Vakomet designed a special carrier for moving large pieces, and now lifting is much safer, ”says Piispanen.
